Sapphire is a 2009 Hanoverian colt by the famous Sir Donnerhall out of the high performance mare EM Hochkarat (Hohenstein/De Niro). Sapphire has shed out to be a black horse with a brown nose. He will be a very tall (17.1 hds already) and elegant horse with superb movement.
His mother (EM Hochkarat) has been NWSHBA broodmare of the year 3 years in a row now, and all her foals are USDF HOY champions. She is schooling PSG with ease!
Sapphire will need some time to grow into that body of his, we have to downsize and can`t keep on raising youngsters. We feel that he should be given more time to mature before starting him.
We did run survey x rays on him this summer, they are all normal.
