Escalade was born on December 23, 2003, an unplanned but very welcome early Christmas gift. He is the first foal of Escapade. His dam is our star mare Weltskandal who has given us a fantastic stallion prospect with her first colt Radikal. Well she did it again. Escalade earned Gold Medal Designation at the RPSI inspection in September 2004 with a score of 7.8 for confirmation and 8.2 for movement. We will carefully monitor his development over the next 12 months and are, of course, most anxious to evaluate his jumping ability in due time. We already know that he is a fantastic mover and hopefully he inherited some of his sire’s outstanding jumping ability.
